Church pastor arraigned on six charges of first degree criminal sexual conduct…..
Aug 2010 -
Rev. Timothy Jackson of the Apostolic Holy Church of God, located at 437 Livernois before it was burned to the ground August 6, was arraigned on six charges of first degree criminal sexual conduct today.
He is accused of sexual assaults on a thirteen year old girl between 2009-2010 in the southwest Detroit church.
The judge of the 36th district court set bond at $50,000, and scheduled a preliminary examination for September 1. Each count of CSC 1 carries a possible sentence of life in prison.
The church was torched on August 6, one day after it was raided by investigators. The fire is believed to have been intentionally set, probably in retaliation for Rev Jackson’s alleged acts.
